About Bed Bugs
- A single female bed bug lays 1-12 eggs a day! That means one bed bug could lay up to 500 eggs in its lifetime. In one week those eggs hatch, and a month after they hatch, those females can start laying eggs of their own! Talk about knowing your great, great, great, great grandchildren.
- Bed Bugs can live up to a year without feeding! Hope they had a big thanksgiving meal.
- Bed Bugs are mostly active at night, this means that you may be unaware of an infestation for weeks!
- Most people do not react to bed bug bites. Just because you don’t think you have been bitten doesn’t mean you don’t have a bed bug infestation.
- Bed bugs carry no known diseases to humans. However, for most people, this doesn’t make having them any easier.
