Bed Bugs in Central Oregon
Central Oregon has a lot of people coming and going, from visitors and seasonal workers to families moving in from out of state, and bed bugs ride along in luggage, furniture and moving boxes. Once they’re in a home, they spread from the bedroom to couches and other rooms surprisingly fast.
Many people try sprays and foggers first. Those rarely work: bed bugs resist many common pesticides and sprays don’t reach their eggs. Heat does.
A Whole-Home Treatment in One Visit
We park our propane-powered heater outside, run ducting into the house and place fans in each room. Room by room, the home is brought to at least 130°F, a temperature bed bugs and their eggs can’t survive. We move beds and furniture as needed so heat reaches every common hiding spot.
A typical four-room home takes about three hours. Since there are no chemicals, you can move back in as soon as we’re done.
